• If you are interested in clothing donations (even winter clothes are needed) we would gladly pick them up (available in NY or NJ) or pay for shipping to our NJ location. Through our alliance with www.GiveLifetoChildren.com, a registered non-profit organization, we can provide a tax-deduction for your clothing donations. The clothing can be in fair shape, but please, no holes or major stains.

What happens to the clothes? Well, a few things:

1) Promising Growth and Give Life are working to create a Thrift Shop in Medellin (and later in other cities where they work) where the clothes that are in very good condition can be sold to raise funds for their program. Learn more about our plans on our blog.

2) Clothes that are in "worn" condition will be donated to either the El Percal village or other desolate villages in the Antioquia region.

We will only take a cash donation for shipping clothes through Give Life To Children using PayPal (where you can use your credit card).
